Year 12 Class of 2024 farewelled

Guyra Central School bid farewell to the graduating Year 12 Class of 2024 on Friday, September 27th.
The day began with a traditional ‘Year 12 Breakfast’ hosted by the Year 11 students.
Following this, the ‘Class of 2024’ was honoured and graduated during a memorable Valedictory Assembly.
Students from Years 7 to 11 spoke on behalf of their respective year groups, highlighting a shared sentiment: the Year 12 cohort served as role models for their younger peers.
Ther younger students did an amazing job of farewelling the year 12 students and should be proud of themselves.
Year 12 advisor Miss Wendy Wilson took the assembly on a nostalgic journey, sharing her experiences as Year Advisor with the departing students.
Mr. Tim Lloyd, the Relieving Principal, personally addressed each student, highlighting the unique contributions they made to the school and sharing what he would miss about each of them. 
Year 12 students are now concluding their preparations for the final Higher School Certificate examinations.
“We extend our best wishes to each of our Year 12 students during this critical time,” Mr Lloyd said.
“Guyra Central School would like to take this opportunity to wish all Year 12 graduates success in their future endeavors.
“We hope you thoroughly enjoy the journey ahead, regardless of the path you choose to pursue.
