A group of Guyra cyclists recently completed in the Tour de Rocks charity ride, raising funds for cancer awareness, cure and prevention.
Over three days they took part in the ride, covering a distance of 268km and up to 4557m of elevation from Armidale to Woolgoolga.
It was probably the toughest Tour de Rocks to date and the track to Woolgoolga provided some challenges for the riders.
The riders dug deep and rode the many hills, and even a bit of off road stuff, which was ‘loved’ by many and ‘not so loved’ by some.
Team Guyra raised almost $4000 and would like to thank everyone who bought raffle tickets and donated to this amazing cause.
Also a big thank you to the Costa Group for the kind donation for ‘Team Guyra’ to put towards new Jerseys.
