Date set for TroutFest 2025

The date for 2025 TroutFest will be the October long weekend which falls in the school holidays.
New exciting additions to the program are planned this year especially for trout lovers and for young fishers, but also for adults. A whole program of fishing related activities will take place starting Friday evening relating to eating, fun learning and games at the markets especially for children, and again on Sunday.
The committee said they don’t want to give too much away yet, but keep your eye on the Gazette and social media closer to the time.
We are calling for Expressions of Interest from local musicians and local organizations who want to be part of the market day. The festival attracts loads of visitors to town so it can be lucrative for your organization to join in. It’s free for local not-for-profit groups.
In the meantime if your organization would like to run an event during the festival, or if you have some “you beaut” ideas to add to the program, join our award winning team at the next meeting 5pm March 10 at the Bowling Club. Alternatively you can email guyratroutfest@gmail.com.
