Bridgewater Angus bulls sold to a top of $16,000 twice with an average of $8900 at their sale held on July 26th.
Roger and Geralyn Flower would like to thank everyone who braved the elements to attend the sale following 20 mls of rain that morning.
“A special thank you to all the local cattle breeders who purchased bulls on the day many of which were repeat buyers,” they said.
“It was good to see some new clients, we are confident that the Bridgewater bulls will be a great asset to their breeding operation.”
“We would like to thank Armitage and Buckley our agents for conducting the sale and for their tremendous help in the lead up to it.”
The top priced bulls were Lot 8 a Paratrooper son who sold to Cobram Farms and Lot 31 T023 a Rennylea P559 son with great CE CWT and top 3% for IMF. He sold to Talisker Grazing Uralla who also picked up Lot 19 a 38 Special Son.
The volume buyers were D & J Wright from Ascot Park Black Mountain who took home three bulls with a great range of genetics. The Wrights have been great supporters of Bridgewater Angus buying a total of 11 bulls over the past few years. They sell steers every year on AuctionsPlus achieving top prices for their weaners.
