Black Mountain Public School success at Armidale Eisteddfod

On Thursday, 23rd May 2024 the students from Black Mountain Public School travelled to the New England Conservatorium of Music to participate in the Armidale Eisteddfod.
The 3-6 students were awarded 1st Place in the Recorder Group playing ‘Rumpus’ and received 2nd Place in the Small Country Schools Choirs Division.
The K-2 students received a Highly Commended for their performance of ‘A Wombat on a Surfboard’ and ‘Seasons Go Round and Round’.
Congratulations to all students and thank you to Rowena Teege (Conductor) and Warwick Dunham (Accompanist).
