CWA members head to Coffs Harbour for annual conference

Guyra CWA members are in Coffs Harbour this week for the annual Conference.
Evening Branch member Daria Hadley is a delegate, and Mary Hollingworth and Christine Gellie are with The Land Cookery Committee.
Heather Starr (CWA Day Branch) along with Mary Hollingworth will be judging while 10 members will be attending the Gala Dinner.
This Saturday May 11th, the Guyra Evening Branch are hosting a “Mother’s Matter most” morning tea at the library from 10am-11.30pm.
Guest speaker will be Tahlia from Amaroo Booms. Heathwise and Carers NSW will also be in attendance. Everyone is welcome morning tea supplied along with a gift bag.
Guyra Evening CWA was represented at the 2024 NSW AgriFutures Awards on Thursday evening at Parliament House.
It was an amazing event celebrating the achievements of the three finalists Rebeeca Keeley (Yarn), Rae Knopik(GREN) and Ruby Riethmuller( Womn- Kind) with Rebecca announced the winner.
The gala event was attended by the NSW Minister for Women Jodie Harrison MP and the NSW Minister for Agriculture Tara Moriarty along with representatives of the sponsors Agrifutures, Westpac, NSW Farmers and CWA supported by the NSW Government Premiers Department Office of Women Rural Womens Network team.
While many Award alumni and key industry stakeholders attended, celebrating the ongoing achievements of women throughout NSW with many networking opportunities throughout the gala evening.
