Midweek Golf
Some good scores this week. Also some of the beginners putting in great scores.
Individual score with 30 points was David Wilson. Congratulations. Big cut in your handicap this week David. Next was Randy Mulligan 26 points, Archie Dowden 25 points, then on 23 we had Dan Lennon, Jodie Stewart, Tina Skipper, Oliver White and Bec Smith had 22 points. Well done everyone.
Team score went to Blue Sky with 97 followed by Sultans of Swing on 86. Hillbillies had 81, Green Grass 79, Baldersleigh Bashers 77.
Ladies’ Golf
Last week the Ladies played the first Graham Betts Round for this year. Jenni Jackson was the winner with 36 points. Runner up was Debbie Burey with 35 points. Debbie also won the nearest the pin on the 18th hole.
This week is a Par Medal. Next week is the Guyra Ladies Open, with many visitors expected in town to play golf this year.

Vets Golf
Last Tuesday the 4th we played the Reg Taylor Stroke. It was well contested with 13 players and some close scores. Neil Paine was the day’s winner with 71 nett and Ian Taylor won the gross. Ian also won the putts with Neil getting one NTP and Robert Moore getting the other 2.
On Thursday about 20 vets, men and ladies travelled to Uralla to contest the second round of the pennants. We came into the clubhouse in third spot which was good enough to promote Guyra to equal 1st place with Armidale on 14 points. Uralla and Walcha are on 12 points with Glen on 8.
Some great individual results with Len Stanley winning C grade on 37 points. Belinda Lenehan backed up her B grade win in Armidale taking Ladies B grade again in Uralla. Belinda also got a NTP as did Kerry Bull and Michael Jackson.
The next pennants round is in Guyra on Tuesday the 18th.
