Bald Blair students excel at sport!

On Friday 24th May, Bald Blair students Dustin Turnham, Sadie MacDougall, Sydnee Everett, Claudia Evans, Grace Schaefer, Ruby Little, Luca Little and Elka Chilcott-Geere competed at the Armidale Zone Cross Country at Bellevue Oval.
The students all tried their very best and came 2nd overall in the Small Schools competition.
Congratulations to Dustin who came 4th in the 8/9 years event and Sadie who came 5th in the 8/9 years event.
Sadie and Dustin will now travel to Coolah on the 13th June to attend the North West Cross country carnival.
Alby McKemey and Taharn Masuk-Purvis attended the Armidale Zone soccer trials on the 23rd May. Both boys played well with Taharn being selected in the team to attend the North West trials. Alby was chosen as a reserve.
On the 5th June Taharn travelled to Tamworth for the soccer trials for the North West team. Taharn showed excellent sportsmanship and skill throughout the day and was chosen to represent the North West region at the NSW State Carnival next term. Congratulations Taharn.
