Guyra pipped by Glen Innes for Pennants title

The final round of the Pennants was held on Thursday in Walcha and we had a good field of 20 players travel down to try and secure our fourth victorious year in a row.
Try as we may, both Walcha and Glen Innes defeated us on the day leaving us in equal first place with Glen over the five rounds.
When a count back was done, Glen were declared the winner with Guyra in second place. Congratulations to the team from Glen. A great group of golfers and great supporters of district events.
Guyra did pick up a couple of prizes however. Col Walls won the C grade, with Wal Chapman the runner up and Wendy George snared a NTP. We look forward to next year.
