Guyra boys selected for Central North Rugby

Guyra boys, Christopher Welsh and Darcy Sisson were selected to play for Central North Rugby to compete in the U12s State Rugby Championships held at Camden over the weekend.
Central North finished top of their pool after a strong showing in the weekend round games, propelling them into the Country Championship final against a strong Far North Coast team.
In a nail biting encounter with two disallowed tries, Central North went down 14–7 in the final to finish fourth in the State Championships overall, ahead of more fancied local teams including Eastwood, Parramatta, North Sydney and Sydney University.
The final placings and performance over the three-day carnival was the best ever achievement by the Central North zone.
